Bad Dreams Work

Being an avid film buff and once having young children, I spent many, many hours before the TV watching the latest animated movie that the Dreamworks studio had produced. Shrek, in particular sticks vividly in my mind. One 3am morning our, not-wanting-to-sleep-daughter aged 2, wanted to watch it. She sat and grinned and I tried to stay awake. To say that the Dreamworks logo has been burnt in my mind is an understatement.

Thankfully said daughter grew up, is now making her own way in the animation world, and has the same love of film that I have – I introduced her to the original Alien film at the ripe old age of 13. She loved it! (so proud) But, many more years later, when I blended the Dreamworks logo with the Alien, eyes widened and she grinned once again as she did with the animated world of Shrek. It worked, so I set about finalising the design.

It may seem like a simple design, which in fact it is, but it took some doing to get right. Thankfully the t-shirts fell into the capable hands of Bobcat Print Co, so the finished outcome is superb!

Just goes to show that, Bad Dreams Work.

Don’t have nightmares.
